点评:A lovely wee place - we arrived just after midday so had a very tasty lunch in the cafe at the entrance, which is also where you buy your tickets for the museum. After the lunch, we paid the bill and bought the museum entry and spent a long time looking at the exhibits on every floor.
All very nicely laid out to walk you through everything. Plenty of exhibits showing just how hard and basic life was in the area. Also met Rob, the friendly owner, who was happy to stand and chat and tell us how he came to own it from his family, and the work it's taken in the last 40 years to renovate and open as the museum it is now.
We left after that but not before buying up a couple of scones from the cafe to have at home later - and they also were delicious.
This place is a real labour of love and enthusiasm, and it shows. Well worth a visit.
