点评：Went to visit on a hot day whilst exploring the White Cliffs. Admit we only bought tickets for the lighthouse tour to escape the sun but it was very interesting. the young lady who showed us around was cheerful enthusiastic and full of interesting local facts as well as knowledge about the lighthouse. 40 minutes flew by even the children enjoyed it and the view at the top was just perfect. They serve delicious ice cream within a little walled garden, had some games out like giant connect 4 for children to play and they had bowls of water dotted around for dogs. Toilets were immaculately clean and the gift shop had some kites you could borrow to fly (sadly no wind on day we visited) and deckchairs you could sit in and enjoy the view. Every staff member we encountered had a smile and a cheery greeting, definitely worth a visit, esp if you’re local it’s amazing how much history is on our doorstep.
