点评：We visited the Smoke Dūminukė Sauna as a group of four friends, including guests from Scotland, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. None of us had tried a traditional Lithuanian smoke sauna before, so we didn’t quite know what to expect — but the experience exceeded every possible expectation.
The session was guided by Ignas, a professional sauna master (pirtininkas), who delivered the entire ritual in excellent English, which was perfect for our English-speaking friends. He introduced us to the deep traditions of Lithuanian sauna culture — from ancient purification rituals to the symbolism of natural elements. It felt authentic, respectful, and truly unique.
The atmosphere of the sauna itself was magical: the warm wooden interior, the soft glow of the light, the smell of natural smoke and herbs. Outside, the beautiful forest surroundings added even more charm and tranquility. We felt immersed not only in heat, but in culture, nature, and storytelling.
Ignas guided us through different stages of the sauna ritual — relaxing heat waves, gentle whisking, aromatherapy, cooling moments outside — always making sure everyone felt comfortable and understood what was happening. Even as first-timers, we felt completely safe and cared for.
By the end, we were deeply relaxed, refreshed, and inspired. Our Scottish friends said it was one of the most special experiences they’ve ever had while traveling.
