点评:We came in closer to where the cemetery is marked .. it’s a narrow hard dirt/gravel road. It’s well maintained, but steep drop offs along the sides of road. Jack told me if that drive up made me nervous don’t go the other way out …which is the west entrance.
We Loved the tour & seeing all that he has there including a museum full of all kinds of things from bygone eras. He also makes beautiful jewelry & a ton of stones of just about every kind from all over the U.S. is offered for sale too. He’s so informative & I loved listening to how it came about to where it is now thanks to all of his hard work & research. He truly rebuilt a mine & buildings over 17 years that was in horrible state. Living and Loving the life he’s built shows. Well worth the stop & drive up!! It sits on 10 1/2 acres with 11 levels down & 1 up. Not all are viewable. We only toured the 2nd level.. (main level) but he offers 6 different tours. Amazing views from there as well. This is a don’t judge the book by its cover.. because you’d be wrong. Wish we would have had time to do some of the other mine entrances. Highly recommend!!
