Driver only holiday in Sri Lanka

点评：Hey. I found our Driver for Sri Lanka on tripadvisor.
Initial contact was good.
Fee agreed
We needed 10 days driving from Negombo - Anuradhapura - Sigiriya - Kandy - Nuwara Eliya - Colombo
I provided hotels and travel itinerary a few weeks before our actual holiday.
We were given our drivers name and sent a photo of the car.
Our Driver Udi, turned up at the agreed time.
Having a driver for our trip was perfect for our needs as I didn’t want a tour guide.
That said our driver was able to assist us with info about the many sites we visited.
I deliberately built in downtime, as it was hot. We wanted to chill by the pool after a long hot day
That meant our driver often wasn’t needed later in the day. But that was fine.
I have no issues with this company and I would use them again.
My main reason for 4/5 when we were in Sigiriya we did the Minneriya safari which they sorted.
But a cooking class was also suggested which my son was keen to do.
However they couldn’t seem to get a bespoke cooking experience
And they kept saying to do the Sigiriya village experience which was $47. Inc a food demo, cart ride , boat ride.
But we didn’t want to do those things
I think they probably have deals with certain local businesses. Which I understand.
But we didn’t want massages. Boat trips Averyedic visits and so on. Which I made clear in my in my original booking.
Despite that minor issue. I was very pleased with our driver.
We had a few fdays with lots of ground to cover.
He got us fresh bottled water every day. King Coconuts. And always found me a good coffee shop on our journeys.
One day I was also unwell. And he took me to a chemist for medicine and we cut out our sightseeing for the day
Therefore I would recommend this company to you.

由于天气炎热，我特意安排了些休息时间。在经历了漫长而酷热的一天后，我们想在泳池边放松一下。
这意味着傍晚时分我们通常不再需要司机的服务。但这也没关系。
我对这家公司毫无怨言，以后还会再次选择他们。
我给4/5分的主要原因在于：我们在锡吉里亚时参加了由他们安排的米内里耶野生动物园之旅。不过，他们也推荐了一个烹饪课程，我儿子很想参加。
然而，他们似乎无法提供定制的烹饪体验。
他们一直推荐所谓的“锡吉里亚村庄体验”，价格是47美元，包含食品演示、乘坐马车以及乘船游览。
但我们并不想参加这些活动。
我觉得他们很可能和当地的某些商家有合作协议，这我可以理解。
但我们不想要按摩、乘船游览、植物园参观之类的项目——我在最初预订时已经把这一点说得很清楚了。尽管有个小问题，我对我们的司机还是非常满意。
我们有几天需要跑很多地方。他每天都会给我们买新鲜的瓶装水，还有正宗的椰子汁。在旅途中，他也总能帮我找到不错的咖啡店。
有一天我身体不适，他便带我去药店买药，那天我们就取消了所有的观光计划。
