How it works at The Blue Lagoon
冰岛蓝湖的点评
点评：I thought it would be useful to explain what happens as people seem to worry about the process.
When you get to the Blue Lagoon you get a coloured digital wrist band which indicates which package you have. We had the premium package so we were given robes. If not you get a towel. You go into the changing room and there are lots of sub rooms each with many lockers. You choose any free locker. It is locked and then unlocked with your wristband. If you forget your locker number there is a pad on the wall of each sub room - blip your wristband and it will show your locker number. You get undressed and go for a naked shower. Showers are private cubicles. Put conditioner in your hair and don’t rinse it out - this protects your hair from the silica in the water - good for skin, not for hair. You put your swimming costume on in the cubicle. You then go down to the lagoon. There are hooks for your robe, or you put your towel in the towel bin (you can get another one later). Take flip flops as these aren’t provided in any package. Then you just go and have a great time at the lagoon - get your drinks and face masks when you want to and stay as long as you like. Afterwards do the process in reverse.
For people worried about the naked shower issue, it really isn’t an issue. The only time anyone may see you is in your small changing room. It’s just like a swimming pool in that respect. When I got changed there was no one else there on the way in and on the way out the other people were getting changed too. No one is bothered and a strategically placed towel does wonders! Please don’t be put off doing this lovely experience because of this. There was a lady on our coach from the airport to the hotel saying she wouldn’t go because of the nude thing. She was so upset and she missed out on a fantastic time. There is really nothing to worry about 😀

有些人担心裸浴的问题，其实完全不用担心。你唯一可能被人看到的地方就是你的小更衣室。从这方面来说，它和游泳池没什么区别。我进去换衣服的时候里面一个人都没有，出来的时候其他人也在换衣服。没人会觉得尴尬，而且一条毛巾放在合适的位置就能起到很好的遮挡作用！千万别因为这个就放弃体验这趟美妙的旅程。我们上车从机场到酒店的时候，有一位女士说她因为担心裸浴而不想去。她非常失望，错过了一次绝佳的体验。真的没什么好担心的😀
