Blue Lagoon - An Accident That Became a Wonder

点评：We knew about the Blue Lagoon. We'd seen the photos. Nothing prepared us for how unreal it actually feels.
The origin story still amazes us: this wasn't a natural hot spring. A nearby geothermal power plant needed somewhere to release its waste water, so they pumped it into a lava field. The mineral-rich water pooled, turned milky blue, and people discovered it felt wonderful on their skin. An industrial accident became one of Iceland's most visited attractions.Standing in the water, surrounded by black lava rock and rising steam, we kept looking at each other asking: is this actually real? The colour is almost too blue. The steam creates a dreamlike haze.
