San Pedro Apostol de Andahuaylillas的点评
点评：The San Pedro Apostol de Andahuaylillas church was a very memorable experience for me. From the outside it looks simple and understated, but once you step inside, it’s truly impressive, with richly painted walls, detailed frescoes, and a beautifully decorated ceiling. You immediately feel like you don’t know where to look first because there are so many details.
I enjoyed the calm, quiet atmosphere and the fact that it isn’t a rushed attraction. It was nice to take the time to look around slowly, absorb the details, and simply be present.
That said, I would give it a 4 out of 5, for two reasons:
Photography is not allowed inside the church, which is understandable, but with such a stunning interior it’s a bit disappointing not to be able to take photos as souvenirs.
The location is quite remote, far from everything else, so it’s not really worth visiting on its own. It makes the most sense if you’re traveling from Puno to Cusco and stop by along the way.
Overall, it’s a beautiful and special place, but more of a “hidden gem along the route” rather than a standalone destination. If you’re already passing through, it’s definitely worth a stop.
