点评:This National Park Service Museum provides an excellent background on the Pacific War in WWII. for those with an interest in military history, this is a "MUST" see. there are field trips organized by the Park Service to various military sites all over Guam. DONT MISS THE FIELD TRIPS! this museum is very close to the entrance to the US Navy base on Guam. you can't miss the museum, because there is a Japanese mini-submarine on static display right outside the museum. my FIRST visit was a big disappointment because the museum had sustained damage from Typhoon Mawar. However, when i return three weeks later, i was relieved to see that the damage had been repaired and the museum was open for visitation. while on Guam, this is a must see ! Re the Japanese mini-submarines, there are to my knowledge at least three on display - one here in Guam, another was raised at Pearl Harbor and returned to the Japanese, and one on display at the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas (birthplace of Admiral Nimitz). Another one was located in Pearl Harbor and is now a war grave under protective administration of NOAA.
