点评:The fact that this is talked of as one of the best spots for snorkeling and diving in Costa Rica, one has to know what to expect. This is not the Maledives or The Great Barrier Reef, so there is not so much coral as one may expect, but there is definitely a lot of underwater life. We saw plenty of turtles, I saw two sharks, fish of all sorts, many puffer fish and many spiecies I do not know the names of. The currents at both our snorkeling spots were quite strong, so take your lifevest, it is for your own safety, also it makes you visible for other boats that may be moving around the area - else your head alone looks just like a floating coconut. We went after the teribble November 2024 rainstorms/floods/landslides which affected Cano Island too and it made visibility in the water harder. We landed on a beach on the island and took a little hike up the hill. You can see turtles swimming about from the lookout. All in all it is a very nice trip. The crowd from our resort who went the day before us also saw a whale with a young one, so keep your eyes open, always.
