点评：Absolutely fantastic experience today. This place is beautifully managed and staffed by committed, professional and knowledgeable people, from the volunteers to the wildlife experts and educational presenters. We attended all the events on the daily schedule and learnt a lot as well as being able to view the species up close. Not all the animals are native to Florida but it’s certainly a joy to be able to see the elusive Florida Panther at close quarters. A highlight for us. The zoo began as a botanical garden and so it’s beautiful to stroll around surrounded by historic plants and trees too. Some reviewers comment on the size of the zoo, from our point of view it’s perfect, as it’s small enough to cover the ground needed to see everything. The ethos of the team is inspiring. From a conservation perspective there is so much good work being done here. It’s a privilege to witness. Cafe Roar looks unassuming but we enjoyed a fresh and spicy turkey wrap for lunch too. Every single member of staff is pleasant and friendly, there to help. We loved it.
