The Wilds的点评
点评：We are older travelers, so we plan short travel days and stay over night.
Cumberland is just 1 and 1/2 hours from Columbus Ohio. For most, it’s a drive over, take a safari and drive back.
We stayed two nights in a yurt for a longer get away. The price of the yurt includes dinner and breakfast for two. We were there during a seasonal change so employees were shifted around in jobs. Oops! The dinner cook was a huge mistake but my complaints were taken very seriously. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast cook was great and we devoured big breakfasts from the buffet. Everything was delicious including the sausage gravy and biscuits! You are in southern Ohio, this is a local favorite.
We opted for the additional Wildside trip, riding into the pasture in an open truck, right up close to the animals.My husband has mobility issues and the truck has a lift, making this safari priceless with this accommodation. A bus tour is included in the price of the yurt. Extinct in the wild, animals are thriving in Ohio on lush land
Up close and majestic. The Wilds has sent hundreds of animals back to the place where they were once free. There populations are growing.
A place of miracles, all on land that is a miracle itself. This remarkable place was once land stripped of its hidden coal. The land too has been reclaimed and making some of this wild animals too chubby! I was hungry for more.
