A hidden little gem of a zoo!

点评：This zoo is an absolute treasure !
My daughter and I visited on a cold weekday but it was perfect. Most of the zoo is in the forest. It was so relaxing. We pretty much had the entire zoo to ourselves and it couldn't have been any better. We went early in the morning so the animals would be more active (not that it was going to get hot on May6). The wolves got a lot of the animals vocalizing including the magnificent male lion (my daughter's favorite). She spent a lot of time with the lions so I sat by the tigers and bears. The male tiger was really interested in my scooter (which I don't know what I was thinking bringing it in because the ground was still too soft). You can roll apples down tubes to give the bears a treat. You can also get food for the deer and the goats. The deer weren't interested so all of ours went to the goats (I love goats).
I highly recommend that you make time to visit this zoo! It is so worth it!
