Great on a rainy day! Less people and rain was light! Windy but worth it! It is the coast of France! 🇫🇷

点评：Rainy day but worth it! I took a “fast” train from Paris to Pontorson, but due to computer/ tech difficulties with the train we had to disembark early and they had a couple comfortable buses pick us up and drop off at the shuttle parking lot. So we were an hour later which worked fine since I had a late evening train back. Had I booked the earlier train it wouldn’t have worked out.
The day was a bit cloudy cold and misty rain but much easier to hike to the island and up to the abbey! I spent a considerable amount of time wandering through the abbey with the tablet which was nice for history and visuals. My phone went dead and the amazing staff at the ticket office helped me get it charged enough so I could use my external charger!
They were exceptional! The gift store was nice and I ended up purchasing several items not planned!
