An unparalleled cluster of five toulou.

点评：If Yuchanglou is the most venerable single toulou in terms of size and antiquity, the Tianluokeng cluster, in my opinion, surpasses it as fo its overall structure: five closed buildings modeled after the toulou, three of which are circular, one oval, and one square. Furthermore, the harmony of these old structures (although age is relative: the construction dates from the late 18th to the mid-20th century) isn't disturbed by the proximity of any modern building.
An unparalleled overall view of the complex — located towards the bottom of the valley — is obtained from a specially designed lookout on the upper slope of the valley itself. But the observation from a lower point than the cluster, located along the highway, is also remarkable.
Compared to Yuchanglou, these toulou are less transformed by the demands of tourism. Inside them — with the dwellings still partly inhabited — one can see more glimpses of life lived, untouched by outside visitors. You'll therefore more easily find everyday items in the courtyards, such as appliances or bicycles...
We've had the feeling that emigration to more urbanized areas is emptying these toulou of inhabitants. I hope that public decision-makers have solutions in mind to effectively safeguard this heritage.
