Poor facial & with no SPF aftercare

I booked a 30-minute ELEMIS Express Facial at Bannatyne Spa Hastings for £57 and left extremely disappointed. I was around 5 minutes late, which I accept, but I received less than 20 minutes of hands-on treatment. Bannatyne later confirmed in writing that their 30-minute express facial is designed to include only around 20 minutes of hands-on treatment, with the rest allocated to consultation, preparation, redressing and aftercare. In my view, this should be made clearer before booking.
The facial itself felt rushed and inattentive. Obvious areas were missed during cleansing, and the massage involved downward pulling on the face, which did not feel like good facial technique.
What concerned me most was the lack of SPF aftercare. After a facial, on a bright sunny day, I was told they do not carry SPF products. Bannatyne later confirmed SPF is not part of their standard treatment protocol because their ELEMIS professional range does not include SPF. I found this shocking for a spa offering skincare treatments.
There was also no manager made available to me on the day, even though Bannatyne later said a senior therapist and duty manager should have been available. Overall, I felt dismissed and would not recommend this spa for facial treatments.
