点评:This is a steam train trip through the Redwood forest. It was fantastic. Highly recommend. In addition to the train, there was a general store selling candy and gifts, a walk up food stall selling standard "fair" food like burgers, hot dogs, etc. There was also a BBQ place but it was unclear if it was open. There were also picnic tables where you could bring your own food.
In addition to the ticket fee, there was a parking fee of $10. Note that the railroad is right next to the parking area for the visitor center at Henry Cowell Redwood State Park. It's literally a 5 minute walk on a path between the State Park Visitor Center parking and where you get on the train. So maybe try to time it so you only have to pay for parking once (the State Park charges $10 to park). You can then visit the Visitor Center, walk the 0.8 mile walking trail through the forest and then take the train through more of the forest. The Visitor Center is worth a visit too.
