点评:Stopped by Tran Quoc Pagoda with the fam during our Hanoi trip and the architecture is really something else, so ancient and chio. It sits on a small green island right on West Lake, giving off those super dreamy and poetic vibes from afar. The red high stupa is definitely a highlight for photos, looking very majestic against the water. However, the place was super packed with so many tourists, until a bit "sian" already. With so many people crowding around, it’s quite hard to feel the tranquility and peace you’d expect from a holy pagoda. The noise level was a bit high, which kind of spoilt the serene atmosphere of the pagoda. If you want to enjoy the quiet side, better come very early in the morning lah. Still a must-visit for the history and the views, but just be prepared for the crowd. Overall, a beautiful spot but just a bit too busy for a zen moment.
