点评:Having spent a lot of time studying 20th century history, I was fascinated to visit the Resistance museum while in Oslo - I actually preferred it to the castle itself, which was unexpected.
The museum is very detailed, with information in multiple languages available - a lot of the history covered was familiar to me, but I had never studied from a Norwegian perspective so it went into a lot more detail than I knew and gave me a different perspective.
I think having some prior knowledge was helpful, and without it I may not have gleaned so much from the exhibition. I came away with multiple notes on my phone of things to revisit/read about some more!...and it is certainly not a place for younger children who have not studied that era of European history yet.
It is quite small, and was not too busy when we visited, but I imagine it could get quite crowded in the high tourist season (particularly on a rainy day!)
We paid for a joint ticket with castle and armed forces museum, but didn't quite make it to the latter as we were all museum-ed out by that point, and didn't have that much interest in the armed forces - not sure if we could have made a saving by paying separately for this museum and castle instead as a result.
