点评：Excellent day out for all ages. We started looking round the bottom of the boat in the dry dock. We then moved to the museum which explained the history of SS Britain. The ship was incredible. The self guided tour starts on the deck and then you move down the ship. It was an immersive experience with sounds and smells that you would have experienced on board. Although it has been reconstructed it feels very authentic. We then moved to the Being Brunel museum which describes Brunel’s life and his work. His office and one of his rooms were recreated which was a lovely touch. So much thought has been put into the whole experience at the Dockyard. Every small detail adds to the experience.We spent 4 hours walking round and we all enjoyed. The cafe is a lovely place to have a break also.
