Surprise Corner的点评
点评：Surprise Corner in Banff is one of those quick, rewarding walks that delivers a postcard view without needing a full day commitment.
We started from the Banff Trading Post and took the trail down along the Buffalo Street side toward Surprise Corner Viewpoint. The route was easy to follow and made for a nice, relaxed walk. From there, we looped back by crossing the bridge and following the scenic Bow River Trail — all in, it took about an hour at a comfortable pace.
The highlight, of course, is the iconic view of the Fairmont Banff Springs tucked into the mountains. It really does live up to the hype and feels like something out of a storybook.
A couple of things to note: the water levels were quite low when we visited, so there weren’t any waterfalls flowing, which might change the experience depending on the season. We also dipped a hand in — the water was freezing cold, as expected in the Rockies!
Overall, this is a great short walk if you’re looking for beautiful views without a big time or energy commitment. Perfect to fit in between other Banff activities.
