点评:Our bareboat charter early last month on Voyage's 480 "Endless Summer" resulted in only one functional day of sailing out of our entire trip. While the mechanical failures were exhausting, the management’s response was insulting. We were essentially given an old, beat-up boat that wasn't fit for purpose.
When we finally limped back to the dock after our "power boat expedition" (since we couldn't sail), the lack of service was glaring. The Voyage team was cheerful and chatting with every other returning boat, but we were completely ghosted. No one greeted us or acknowledged the ordeal we’d been through. I had to text the briefing captain and wait 30 min or longer to get any response.
On the last night prior to our return, the briefing captain had the audacity to ask me to compile a list of the "problems" we encountered on the boat so they could fix them for the next group. It felt like we paid a premium to be their unpaid maintenance surveyors. To make matters worse, management ignored our ( 2) emails requesting to have a discussion about the problems and find a resolution. We eventually heard from managing director Dave Beavis and he claimed the power issues were " completely normal" and that the shredded sail was somehow our fault.
Bottomline, If you value your vacation time, avoid Voyage. They are running a neglected fleet and take zero accountability for equipment failure, and pretty much anything that goes wrong on your boat.
