点评:This park has always been on my bucket list of things to do in Shenzhen. Let's just say, it did not disappoint. It took us just a bit over 30 minutes to reach the top from the bottom via walking. We did stop at the Lianhuashan Park Exhibition Center (I believe), where they talked about hiking trails in Shenzhen. The top features 1, the iconic view over Civic Center and the skyscrapers behind it, such as Ping'an Financial Center. The iconic statue of Deng Xiaoping is also present; he opened up Shenzhen and made it the first special economic zone. He drove rapid growth in the small fishing village and made it what it is today. Admission is free to enter, so this is a great tourist attraction to visit while in Shenzhen. There will be some vending machines, and they'll probably be scattered around the hill. When you enter, there is also a body of water with koi fish present in it. We went on a Monday, and it was decently crowded. It wasn't anything that was too intense, though, and I'm sure that everyone can handle it. The atmosphere is pretty nice and calm. There will be dancers at the entrance, dancing to music. There are also these vehicles, kinda like little buses, that can easily take you up and down the hill that leads to the main viewing area, stopping at some stops around the park. I don't know if it's a paid service or not, but for us, it was easy to find and board. Also, on Friday and Saturday nights, there will be light shows at Civic Center. Typically happening at 7, 8, and 9 PM, each one lasts for 15 minutes, and it's a must-visit; It's beautiful. Since Lianhuashan Park looks directly over Civic Center, it's a great, free area to view the light show, but go early, as it can be extremely packed. Overall, it's a great park to visit while in Shenzhen. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting, and you really don't have to spend long: I only spent 1.5 hours here, so it really isn't time-consuming at all. Highly recommend visiting.
