An Unforgettable 13-Day Journey Through Southern Italy — Amalfi Coast to Puglia

点评：Our 13-day trip with 3 other couples through Southern Italy was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. From the dramatic cliffs of the Amalfi Coast to the whitewashed towns and olive groves of Puglia, every stop felt unique and beautiful.
We started along the Amalfi Coast, where the scenery honestly looks unreal in person. The coastal drives were stunning, and towns like Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello each had their own personality. We loved wandering the narrow streets, enjoying pasta making cooking classes, and savoring long dinners overlooking the water. A short ferry ride to Capri and an old fashioned taxi ride to the hilltop for lunch was one of my favorite experiences on the trip. The weather was nearly perfect the entire time, with warm sunny days, cooler evenings, and very little rain.
The food throughout the trip was exceptional. Fresh seafood, handmade pasta, incredible pizza, local wines, burrata, olive oil, and desserts that somehow kept getting better at every stop. And let's not forget the gelato!! Some of our favorite experiences were the smaller family-owned restaurants and masserias where meals felt personal and authentic rather than touristy. In Puglia we enjoyed a once-in a lifetime experience of dinner in a cave overlooking the beautiful Adriatic Sea.
One highlight was exploring the Puglia region. We stayed in charming Trullis in Alberobello, visited an ancient olive tree farm, and tasted some delicious olive oil.
The combination of breathtaking landscapes, amazing food, warm hospitality, historic towns, and relaxed atmosphere made this trip truly unforgettable...but none of this could have been enjoyed so easily without the expertise of Caron and her knowledge and her ability to speak Italian and English so well. We truly enjoyed her fun personality and are already planning another trip with her next year. We highly recommend CMC World Travel from here on out!! They're the BEST!!!
