莫纳山的点评
点评：A fantastic experience with incredible views. The walk up takes some stamina but I would recommend it to anyone as when it becomes a challenge you can just turn around and head back. Good shoes are required along with plenty of water.
On the first half there is plenty of shade as the path in mainly tree lined. The halfway point offers incredible views so well worth just doing the easiest part.
I made it to the point where the climb suddenly becomes very vertical with little to hold onto as the tree cover comes to an end at this point. I was happy to have made it this far as the walk was fantastic with incredible views all around Le Morne.
I would suggest the last 200m is more suitable for experienced climbers or for those with a guide with suitable climbing shoes. I was totally fine right up to this point however you do need a good head for hights for this bit as you suddenly have very open views down the mountain.
