Diveaway Fiji的点评
点评：I squeezed in two scuba dives one morning with Diveaway Fiji, when on a week’s family holiday with kids and grandkids. So - some “me time”.
We were staying at the Naviti Resort. It has a Diveaway shopfront, which was convenient, and the dive shop itself is only about 10 minutes up the road, with excellent dive sites literally a few minutes by boat offshore.
Communication was a bit spotty at first, but I put that down to the fact the sea was not cooperating and there was no diving for a couple of days (and it’s “Fiji time”!).
But they were there when it counted, collecting me as promised from reception at 7:45am.
I did 2 tank dives and was back at the Naviti Resort by about 12:45pm to help chase grandkids around.
I hired a wetsuit, BCD, reg (octopus), mask and fins. All worked fine.
There was only the divemaster, the super-friendly Su, another experienced diver from Singapore, Lionel, and me, (there were 2 students from Jackson Hole in the USA on their final open water dives with their dive instructor, Finn, too, but they did their own thing), so we had two long dives (55mins and 72 mins) covering multiple dive sites (One Eye Jack-Turtle Bowl and Edge-Big Foot-Sundance) @15-18 metres. Plenty of hard and soft coral and reef fish; a large green moray eel; and more turtles then I've ever dived with - green and hawksbill - 8-12 on the first dive (difficult to know whether some were repeat customers) and 4 on the second. One pair were particularly inquisitive, coming very close to check me out. No sharks but the students saw one and Lionel had seen some on a previous dive nearby. We went under coral balconies and a beautiful large swim through. I mean they were awesome; a turtle under one of the balconies. It was so nice being on a couple of long, chilled dives, with plenty to see.
Great diving; easy to get to.

不过，在关键时刻他们还是出现了，按照约定早上7:45到前台接我。
我完成了两次潜水，大约下午12:45就回到了纳维蒂度假村，帮着照顾孙子孙女们。
我租了潜水服、浮力背心、调节器（备用二级头）、面镜和脚蹼。一切都很顺利。
只有潜水长苏（Su），一位超级友好的潜水员，还有一位来自新加坡的经验丰富的潜水员莱昂内尔（Lionel），以及我（还有两位来自美国杰克逊霍尔的学生，和他们的潜水教练芬恩（Finn）一起进行最后的开放水域潜水，但他们各自潜水）。所以我们进行了两次长时间的潜水（55分钟和72分钟），探索了多个潜点（独眼杰克-海龟碗和边缘-大脚-日舞），深度在15-18米之间。我们看到了大量的硬珊瑚、软珊瑚和礁鱼；一条巨大的绿海鳗；以及比我以往潜水经历中遇到的海龟数量还要多的海龟——绿海龟和玳瑁——第一次潜水看到了8-12只（很难判断其中一些是否是回头客），第二次潜水看到了4只。其中一对海龟特别好奇，游得很近地观察我。没有看到鲨鱼，但学生们看到了一条，莱昂内尔在之前的一次附近潜水中也看到了鲨鱼。我们潜入了珊瑚礁的阳台下方，以及一个美丽的大型穿洞。我的意思是，它们太棒了！在其中一个阳台下发现了一只海龟。能进行几次悠闲的长时间潜水真是太棒了，沿途有很多东西可以看。
