Great diving on MV Dolphin Queen!
Similan Diving Safaris的点评
点评：Similan and Surin National Parks are definitely worth diving. We encountered good visibility in most places. Richelieu Rock was not what I expected: poorer visibility but what a sight! Schools of barracudas and amberjacks above thousands of bottom feeders. Overall though, not many pelagic fish. I saw some blacktips (especially at night) and tunas. And of course the famous boulders of Similan with their massive presence and intricate sets of passages and tunnels.
When the site was too busy (10 liveaboards at anchor at one point!), we went to another quieter place. Most of the time, the sites were not crowded.
The boat was full with 16 guests in 8 cabins, and the crew. Plenty of space all around. Some prefer to sleep on the sundeck at night or below on a soft bench. 3 shower rooms with toilets were a bit tight at times, but manageable. The dive platform was good, but I didn’t like the transom ladders and even less the flimsy side ladder of the tender (for those without booties especially!). Taking your fins off to climb when there is a swell is not really recommended and a garelik-type ladder with stable flat footrest would be much better!
The crew was fantastic: an experienced captain, a great chef and sous-chef for delicious and plentiful meals, and the deck hands that even help you gearing up and getting you safely back onboard. There was 1 guide (divemaster/instructor) for 4 divers. My guide was called Johanna: she was a great diver, fun, knew the sites and was safety conscious.
All in all, great value for money. Many thanks to Similan Diving Safaris for this great way to spend 5 days and 5 nights!

船员们都很棒：经验丰富的船长，厨艺精湛的大厨和副厨烹制了美味丰盛的佳肴，还有热情周到的甲板水手，他们甚至会帮你穿戴装备，并安全地送你返回船上。船上有一位潜水长/教练带领四位潜水员。我的潜水长名叫乔安娜：她潜水技术精湛，风趣幽默，熟悉潜点，而且安全意识很强。
总而言之，物超所值。非常感谢斯米兰潜水探险公司，让我度过了如此美好的五天五夜！
