Poor upkeep at what use to be our favorite resort in Phuket

点评：I’ve been visiting this hotel since 2018 , I’ve stayed at the hotel since about 4-5 times . In 2018 the hotel cleanliness and upkeep was excellent , food was good and service was great .
Over the years I’ve noticed the quality of the upkeep of the resort was declining ,eg the lifts were filthy , the corridors inside the hotel was not clean . Room make up was more to tidy up than actual cleaning service.
Yesterday we saw a rat in the corridor, which to some extent is understandable due to the outdoor sort of vibe and aesthetics the resort has but then coupled with filthy bedding and uncleaned rooms , one begs to differ .
This trip what was really sad was to see that the service from extremely humble and amazing willingness to service has been reduced to virtually a standard across the resort .
This place was special to my family and I and I have encouraged many family and friends to visit and which they have done . This time I’ve brought about 5 families with and their experience wasn’t near what I had bragged about . We had no hot water for 6 nights , when we complained , they sent a plate of fruit and said sorry , a plumber came did some work on the unit but still no hot water . The staff have become so rude and if anyone who has been to Thailand , no one is rude .
I’v checked out and whilst checking out I told the lady at check in after staying here for many years I will not come back , she just said ,”sorry “ not to ask why ,
The resort has potential to be awesome due to the fantastic location and facilities but due to the upkeep It’s going to sadly become a tourist disaster.

这次旅行最令人难过的是，服务质量从曾经极其谦逊和热情周到，几乎整个度假村的服务水平都下降到了同样的水平。
这个地方对我和我的家人来说意义非凡，我曾鼓励很多亲朋好友来这里，他们也确实来了。这次我带了大约五个家庭一起来，他们的体验远不如我之前吹嘘的那样好。我们连续六个晚上都没有热水，投诉后，他们送来一盘水果并表示歉意，之后水管工来修了一下，但热水还是没恢复。工作人员的态度变得非常恶劣，去过泰国的人都知道，泰国人通常不会这么粗鲁。
我已经退房了，退房时我告诉办理入住的那位女士，我在这里住了这么多年，以后不会再来了，她只是说了声“对不起”，并没有问我为什么。
这家度假村地理位置优越，设施齐全，本来很有潜力成为一家很棒的度假村，但由于维护不善，很遗憾，它最终会成为旅游业的灾难。
