Terrible service from a mystery member of staff

点评：Went to play a round of golf with a few friends. The round was good and overall it’s a good course in my opinion. However, we were abruptly interrupted by a screaming woman. We brushed it off, thinking it couldn’t be us, but not even one minute later she stormed up to us and started giving us a row. She claimed that we were hitting balls off the cliffs and deliberately hitting balls at people, as if we would do that on purpose.
We did accidentally hit a ball in the general direction of a walker, which we immediately shouted “fore” for. If a ball did go off the cliff, it was certainly not intentional. Golf balls are expensive, and not all of us can fully control our shots. She also claimed that five people had complained, which makes no sense, as only about four people walked past us.
Because of this, I’m giving it a one-star review. It’s one thing to be spoken to about safety while playing golf; it’s another to be spoken to like children, which was disrespectful and, quite frankly, disappointing. I don’t know who was speaking to us, but I think she needs to have a little think to herself about her foul mouth.
Great course and booking in was easy; however, the treatment we received was enough to warrant a one-star rating.
