Arrived at 9:40AM to a very long line. There were even women who acted as if we were with them (resellers I think).
Baguio may be my hometown but I live in MNL. That is why I transferred to the tourist line. The line gets longer, NOT SHORTER, by the minute because of some local resellers posing as tourists cutting the line to join their companions. There are also some drama going on in the counter since the cashier could recognize them and they keep insisting that they're tourists.
Also, although GS has a parking area, they won't let people park inside.
Here are my comments and suggestions:
1. Accept pre-orders for pick-up to avoid wasting people's time and so people are updated on the maximum number of products they could purchase.
2. Locals should be allowed to buy but with a limit as well for personal consumption.
3. You must have an arrangement with resellers so they know what to expect and for some not to bring their toxicity that could affect people's mood. (Heard some badmouthing tourists.)
4. SRP for resellers. Tourist sometimes would rather buy outside (market, etc.) to save time but resellers take advantage of this and doesn't give fair pricing anymore.
5. If you already noticed that there is a large volume of customers, open another counter. The line is already long and you still have one counter open.
6. Time is valuable. Respect your customer's time as well.
