animals are great; guides are mediocre
Wake Up to Wildlife Tour的点评
点评：Our group of three booked this trip and we weren't entirely sure of what to expect because there's not a huge amount of information on the website we booked through. When we arrived, it was a little chaotic because the guide, Mercedes, had decided that we didn't have enough people for two groups. She had to spend some time rearranging drivers and guests. Once we were loaded, things calmed down. She had bags of mini muffins and some sort of tangy orange juice in each seat for us to have while she drove.
We did get to see some animals, which was great! We saw plenty of bison, a few wolves and coyotes, and even a few sheep. We didn't get to stop at the waterfall she'd talked about because it had been snowing and though that it would be too slippery to walk to safely.
We chose to rate this as a 3 star trip simply because the guide didn't really know much about the park. She couldn't tell us what caused so many downed trees, how many bison were in the park, dates of events, etc. She didn't have much of a personality so what little she did know was delivered in a very dull way. In all, we didn't learn anything and feel that we'd have been better off just going in our own car at our own pace with a Yellowstone guide book.
