点评:I booked the morning half day cooking course direct on the Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy website. The meeting point and directions were very clear. We first went to the nearby market to learn about different Thai vegetables and herbs. Then we went to the Academy, each person was given one work station for chopping/prep and another for cooking. The ingredients had been portioned up for each of the five dishes and with some final chopping done by the students.
I enjoyed the class and it is well suited to those interested in Thai food as well as novices to the kitchen. After the cooking we sat and ate the cooked food as lunch, as other reviews have mentioned it would have nice if containers were available to take home the large amount of left overs. The teaching chef was helpful and happy to answer questions.
