点评：Went to a game at the stadium recently – have to say, while the overall organisation was solid, the food and drink offering was seriously disappointing. Easily one of the worst we’ve experienced at a major stadium anywhere in Europe, and somehow also one of the most expensive.
The food felt like the cheapest possible options dressed up at premium prices – bland burgers, barely warm hot dogs 🌭, and very little choice or quality for what you’re paying. It honestly takes away from the whole matchday experience.
The bar situation didn’t help either – clearly understaffed, long queues, and a system that just doesn’t make sense. WHAT is the point of pouring bottled water into a plastic pint cup before handing it over? Same with fizzy drinks being poured out of cans. It slows everything down and creates unnecessary waste.
Speaking of waste – the amount of single-use plastic on show was shocking. Bottles, cups, lids… all for no clear reason. In 2026, with sustainability such a big focus across sport, it’s hard to understand how this is still acceptable. Surely the club has environmental targets or commitments? If so, they’re not visible here.
