点评：After extensively researching all of the private boat trips in the area, we chose Albatros Private Cruises and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our holiday.
We were a group of nine (five adults, three young children and an infant) staying at Eagles Palace Resort and finding a boat that comfortably suited everyone wasn’t easy. This one exceeded every expectation.
The boat itself is on another level compared to almost everything else you’ll see around Ouranoupoli, Ammouliani and the Blue Lagoon. As you arrive at the busy swimming spots, you’ll genuinely feel like you’re arriving on a private yacht while many of the other boats simply don’t compare. It feels incredibly luxurious without an eye-watering price tag.
What we loved most was that there was a space for everyone. There was a spacious sun deck for those wanting to soak up the sun, comfortable lounging areas at the bow, shaded seating throughout the boat, indoor seating for anyone wanting a break from the heat and a fantastic swim platform at the back where you could enjoy the crystal-clear water while still staying in the shade.
We booked the full seven-hour cruise and it was completely tailored to us. Our captain, Christos, was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. He happily stopped wherever we wanted, took us to beautiful swimming spots and even circled the boat while we searched for dolphins. His local knowledge, relaxed nature and professionalism made the whole experience feel effortless.
Rather than stopping for lunch, we brought our own food onboard so we could maximise every minute on the water and we’re so glad we did.
Considering the quality of the boat and the overall experience, we thought it represented exceptional value. We’d seen much smaller, less comfortable boats being offered at similar prices, so this felt like incredible value for money.
In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we immediately booked a second excursion just a few days later.
If you’re staying around Ouranoupoli or Eagles Palace and are thinking about a private cruise to Ammouliani, the Blue Lagoon or Vourvourou, don’t hesitate to book with Albatros Private Cruises. There simply aren’t many boats of this standard in the area. It’s genuine luxury without feeling pretentious and an experience our whole family—from grandparents to toddlers—will remember for years to come.
