Disappointing stay despite great food and polite staff
Spice Routes Luxury Cruises的点评
点评：We recently stayed for 1 night on the Spice Routes "Saffron" houseboat in Alleppey. While there were a few positive aspects, the overall experience fell well below our expectations.
The Highlights:
Food: The meals were absolutely awesome, authentic, and delicious throughout our stay.
Hospitality: The crew and staff were polite, warm, and very welcoming.
The Lowlights:
Unusable Jacuzzi: We booked this specific houseboat largely because of the jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the water was filthy and completely unusable. My child was eagerly looking forward to it and was left thoroughly disappointed.
Overpriced Village Tour: We requested a village tour and were arranged a country boat ride for ₹2,000. It was entirely not worth the money. , we were not taken to Kuttanad village
Given the premium price point of Spice Routes, basic maintenance like clean water in amenities and delivering on paid excursions should be non-negotiable. We left feeling let down.
