点评：I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for organising such an amazing trip. It was all that we hoped for.
We hadn’t stayed in unfenced accommodation before so we absolutely felt we were ‘in the wild’ and drunk in all of the amazing sounds of the delta and the animals.
Our sightings at Mna Dinare were fabulous - the wild dogs. Cheetah brothers, leopards, a huge buffalo herd, the lioness sisters and of course the Caracal. Spending time and observing a large herd of elephants of various ages was also very special. The team was great, especially our Guide & Tracker, Luke & Becky. It was also wonderful to learn about how the concession worked and how our visit helps to support the community which as you know was a key factor in why we chose Kwando.
We really loved the camp at 4 Rivers and the food was fantastic, especially to cater for my pescatarian/vegetarian needs. Again, the team and our Guide & Tracker Denis and BB really looked after us. Our main hope at this camp was to see a male lion as we had only seen one close up before once before, so to spend time with an entire pride multiple times was very special.
The transfers to, between and back from the camps all went seamlessly so thanks to everyone who coordinated this. Faith and the other lady at the aigpirt (her names escapes me atm) were very patient (as we were a bit unorganised on arrival) and do helpful. We didn’t have to work anything out for ourselves.
The delta truly is a magical place and we feel privileged to have experienced it. We will likely return in the not too distant future.
