There are much better dive shops in Bali
Joe's Gone Diving的点评
点评：I contacted Joe’s Gone Diving because I was interested in doing my Divemaster and IDC with them. I was in touch with Felix, who told me there would be an IDC planned for October.
Something seemed off when I checked Joe’s website. The Course Director listed there did not show Joe’s Gone Diving as one of the dive shops he worked with in Bali (only two others in Bali were listed). When I asked Felix about this, he assured me that the Course Director was working with them and that there was no problem.
However, when I followed up directly with the freelance Course Director (after Joe’s Gone Diving stopped responding to my emails), I was told there was no IDC scheduled at all. I later found out they haven’t run an IDC in the last five years.
Despite repeated requests, I never received clear information about course costs, and communication from the shop completely stopped.
This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. Honesty and transparency are essential in professional dive training, and I did not find either here. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Joe’s Gone Diving for anyone considering this unproffesional behavior.
Believe me there are a lot better shops in Bali, I found them you can too.
