Kuma – The Guide We Wish We Had Found at the Start of Our Sri Lanka Trip! 🇱🇰**

点评：We met Kuma completely by chance while travelling across Sri Lanka. We were looking for someone to drive us from Sigiriya to Passikuda, and what started as a simple transfer turned into one of the best discoveries of our trip.
During the journey, we learned that Kuma is actually a professional guide who organises tours and transport across Sri Lanka. We were so impressed with him that we ended up hiring him for three more journeys: *Passikuda to Trincomalee, Trincomalee to Colombo, and finally Colombo to the airport.*
By the end of our holiday, our only regret was that we hadn't found him sooner!
Kuma offers far more than airport transfers and long-distance journeys. He can organise everything from *boat tours and water sports to multi-day tours, off-road adventures, hiking and camping trips, taxis and private transfers, private and group tours*. Basically, tell Kuma what you want to experience in Sri Lanka and he can help map it out for you. He also works with a small fleet of vehicles, meaning he can coordinate transport according to the size and needs of your group.
His cars were *spotlessly clean, comfortable and ideal for long journeys*. His prices were also very reasonable and transparent. There were no unexpected charges or pressure to tip—the decision was entirely ours. This was particularly reassuring after encountering some tuk-tuk drivers, especially in Colombo, who attempted to charge considerably more than the expected fare. With Kuma and his team, we felt completely at ease knowing we could trust them.
What also makes travelling with Kuma enjoyable is his knowledge. We had some fascinating conversations about Sri Lankan history, the economy and everyday life. We later discovered that he had previously lived and worked in Abu Dhabi before returning home to develop his own tourism business. His experience and open-minded outlook make him incredibly easy to talk to. We even heard that he once helped organise an entire wedding for a visiting couple, which probably tells you everything you need to know about how far he is prepared to go for his customers!
Next time we visit Sri Lanka, *Kuma will be one of the first people we contact to organise our trip from beginning to end.*
