点评：Katsuo-ji Temple is a distance from Osaka city and takes about 2 hours to reach via a combination of train and public bus. Public transport for trains and bus to the temple is well connected though and is the least expensive route for most tourists that go to the temple, rather than taking the taxis. The temple is popular with tourists and can be packed in certain areas and explains why public buses to the temple from the bus station can get full quickly. The temple grounds are vast and picturesque and famous for its Daruma dolls which you can purchase for 500 yen and make a wish and place it within the temple grounds. From Katsuo-ji temple, consider visiting the nearby Minoh Falls too and can be reached via a winding 10-minute taxi ride and cost 1,300 yen. After enjoying Minoh Falls, you can take a scenic and easy 45min - 1 hour walk downhill by following the stream of water from the waterfall to Mino-o train station before departing the area.
