点评：What a special church. Not just because it is the largest in the world, but also because it is kind of out-of-place in my opinion.
When you land in Abidjan with the airplane, you get to see a huge commercial capital. But to go to the church, you need to drive 3,5-4 hours to get to Yamoussoukro, which is the political capital of Côte d'Ivoire.
And entering the area where the church is, you see much more basic housing/markets, which drove me to check and find out: Yamoussoukro only has ~270,000 people living there versus Abidjan's ~6,000,000.
Now that's a difference!
Closing the point, the message here is that the church by all means is just so out of place...
In either case, it is worth a visit in my opinion, not just because of its size, but because to a very large degree, it is also beautiful, and joining a tour grants you the possibility to learn a lot of interesting facts about it. Such as - it only took 3 years to build it... but with 1'500 people working on it.
Worth to check out, especially since the sights in Abidjan itself are limited. 5/5
