点评：We were taken here by friends who live In Akumal expecting only a 55 minute drive through the jungle and a museum. It’s difficult to describe the artistic architecture built in tune with nature which incorporates the trees, vines and plants draping down for several meters. Curving walls in many shapes built of polished concrete, walkways fabricated with local wood and creative design throughout invoke a spiritual sense. We had lunch at the poolside with a waterfall and it was delicious. Other commenters have mentioned food is expensive, but the pasta dish with pesto and shrimp was enough for two at $500 (pesos) or $25 US. Caesar salad $320 ($16 US) was perfect with creamy dressing. Margaritas and other cocktails were expensive at $400 ($20 US). The experience and ambience are well worth the higher than usual Mexican price, especially since it’s all accompanied by relaxing horn and piano music, not the usual overly loud disco vibe.
I would highly recommend any visitors who might be tired of the ‘party vibe’ on the beach visit this amazing, unique spot.
