点评：This 1-Star review is for Kili Beyond Adventures and Albert Lima. I had booked a room at Sopa Lodge Tarangire. However, the lodge does not do safaris and they referred to Stephen Arwa. Stephen and I negotiated a price for my desired itinerary.
The day before departure, I got a text from Albert Lewa of Kili Beyond Adventures. He told me jStephen Arwa was based in Kenya and that he had would be handling my itinerary. I thought all was well.
FIFTEEN minutes before my scheduled pickup, Lewa of Kili Beyond Adventures texted me that he would not honor the price agreed to with Arwa and I must pay an additional $125. I said no; he sent a rep to discuss the matter. The rep said I must pay the additional $125 or the trip would be canceled.
So,in the presence of the Kili Beyond rep, I used my phone to contact companies I had spoken to earlier about this itinerary. When I showed him that another company could pick me up in an hour at the agreed—upon price, Lewa agreed to an additional fee of only $25. For simplicity, I agreed but regretted giving this many any business.
If trying to renegotiate the deal and gouge me wasn’t enough for a 1 star, my guide and I arrive at Tarangire NP to learn the registration was incorrect: the number of days was wrong. Thus, we had to return to main gate in traffic and dust of day trippers to fix it. THEN we had to to swap vehicles because Beyond Kili needed the one I started with. This waste of MY time and the inconvenience was not considered.
I highly recommend finding providers other than Kili Beyond and Albert Lewa.
