点评：Taking a guided tour of Mount Etna was one of the most memorable travel experiences I’ve had. From start to finish, the tour was exceptionally well-organized and informative, offering a perfect balance of adventure, education, and breathtaking scenery.
Our guide was highly knowledgeable, explaining the geology, history, and ongoing volcanic activity of Etna in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. You could tell they were passionate about the volcano, which made the experience even more immersive. We learned about past eruptions, lava formations, and how the surrounding landscape has evolved over time.
The hike itself was manageable but still felt adventurous. Walking across solidified lava fields and seeing steaming vents up close was surreal. The views from higher elevations were absolutely stunning—you could see across much of Sicily, and on a clear day, even the coastline.
Safety was clearly a top priority. The guide provided proper equipment and made sure everyone stayed within safe zones, which was reassuring given the active nature of the volcano.
Overall, I’d highly recommend a guided tour of Mount Etna to anyone visiting Sicily. It’s not just a hike—it’s a chance to witness one of the most powerful natural forces on Earth, up close and safely, with expert insight that you simply wouldn’t get on your own.
