Rob The Bank - fantastic family fun

点评：Played Rob The Bank as a three (Mum, Dad & 6 year old Evie. GM was the excellent Ini.
Lovely room which was less puzzle-heavy and more about an initial search and then following a (very fun) linear path of how the hour plays out. While you needn't be some extrovert actor who loves playing a part, you certainly will get out as much as you put in - if you go in having fun and playing along, the game gives the GM plenty of room to have fun while also pushing you along the path or in the right direction of what you're missing. For example, I'm pretty sure one of the interactions was entirely optional but played a brilliant part of showing us we'd been especially incompetent at basic searching - which made a fun moment out of us completely failing. If you get Ini, you'll be in safe hands and have a great time.
Atmosphere
The location you start is in a great combination of immersive but practical. The bank is a convincing office style with all the expected furnishings - there are some lovely touches with the various props and documents which have an emphasis on practicality and fun rather than realism which completely works.
Customer service
Absolutely lovely briefing and hosting from our GM, Ini. lt's a room with tonnes of really fun GM interaction and she played it just right for us and our six year old - lots of fun but still let us do the leg work on the puzzles. Wasn't at all phased by our daughter's (sometimes utterly random) questions and made sure we had a brilliant time.
Scariness?
No jump scares or anything similar. Live actor but in a purely comedic/harmless role which is well signposted/explained and I'm sure could be tailored to avoid anyone really struggling. It's quite a dark room at first which phased our daughter slightly but torches are retrieved within the first minutes and it's light enough to see everything. The conclusion is fairly sensory too but that's what makes it exciting - have a think about the theme and expect exactly what you would first imagine.
