点评：I've been to the Circle of Misse writing retreat three times and am going back in September 2026. The house is lovely, and Aaron is a wonderful cook (he also does cooking classes--see Loire Kitchen). It's wonderful to have so much time to write. The surrounding fields are excellent for walking. Aaron takes the retreat participants into Thouars (a short drive away) to visit a splendid bakery and the local market. Guests can also visit the Chateau d'Oiron, which has an amazing and eclectic art collection. And you meet people from all over, people who share a dedication to writing, no matter their age or experience. Being at Circle of Misse is relaxing, fun, and inspiring. It's what you make of it. I love it. Highest recommendation!
