Madeira Happy Tours的点评
点评：We attended the Go South West tour with Happy Tours. This was our second tour with the company and we were delighted to have the same driver as our first visit - he greeted us like old friends, with a huge smile and a cheerful demeanour. The company were also happy and able to provide a booster cushion for our 6 year old, to ensure he was safe and could see clearly out of the mini bus windows.
This tour took in places like Ponta do Sol, Madalena do Mar, Calheta, Miradouro Farol da Ponta do Pargo and School Farm dos Prazeres. There were a mixture of experiences including the chance to see scarecrows from a village festival and seeing golden (imported) sands. As with all tours, there could have been minor improvements to the amount of time allotted to each area. We felt like we only touched upon the delights of Calheta before dashing back to the minibus to avoid holding up the tour. This is just one of those things, however, when enjoying an organised tour and cannot be helped.
Our guide gave us lots of useful information along the way and was full of personality and life. At the end, when making the drops to the various hotels and drop off points, he kindly drove the minibus right down the steep hill to our hotel entrance (from the road entrance above), which was a kind touch and was appreciated after the long day of exploring.
I wouldn't hesitate to book with Madeira Happy Tours in future and our two days spent with the company gave us many of the highlights of our holiday.
