点评:I ski a lot - 150+ days/season. Primarily at my home resort. I can and do ski almost any terrain. But I can't afford to get hurt because teaching skiing is also my profession. So I'm reluctant to ski steep off-piste if I don't know what's around the corner or over the blind break - especially at gnarly ski resorts like WB. So having a guided off-piste/steep option was really appealing to me.
My expectations were exceeded. Stephen Clarke was my fantastic guide/instructor. But the whole crew that I met seemed well qualified, great skiers and personable. At the end of the day I showed some people at dinner pictures of what we'd skied. My shots of fresh snow and lovely conditions really surprised them. "How did you find that at 11:30am?" "Where was that picture?" etc. They were stunned that I was able to find the goods so late into the day. Thanks ExCan and Stephen for that. Also, I avoided getting cliffed-out or worse. Oh, and I even got some good input on my personal skiing (we can all improve).
