Turtle Beach的点评
点评：We visited Turtle Beach in Hikkadua yesterday. It was an amazing experience to have so many wild turtles so close.
Yes, there are vendors selling sea grass to feed them, however, we also saw them fiercely defend the turtles.
We witnessed one Russian lady try to sit on a turtle, the vendors were very clearly demanding she left the beach, but she looked at them like nothing was wrong. After a short while, we saw around 5 tourist police go round to deal with the situation.
Seemed to us like the vendors and police are starting to take this terrible behaviour more seriously.
Beyond that, the water was beautifully warm, we could easily access the area that the turtles come near shore without any hassle from the vendors, and enjoyed swimming in the neighbouring bay and relaxing on the sandy beach.
Plan is to go back today.
