点评:0 stars for the park itself. Id like to start with the most important part. The tigers. The enclosurers are tiny and the rooms they are kept in when they arent being used for a photo up are even smaller with no enrichment. Me and my boyfriend had this booked for us by a holiday rep and asked explicitly if it was ethical with little to no contact between the humans and tigers. We were told it was very ethical and is regulated by thai government. The tigers are photo props and nothing more. Seeing such majestic and powerful animals be wacked and swatted by fly swatters and leaves and sticks was heart breaking. Theres no respect for the animals at all. In between pictures and videos you see on their website and Facebook there is a man hitting the tiger with a large leafy branch to wind up the tiger and to distract it. The workers were encouraging people to grab the tigers tail during the photos also. The enclosures were clean and they looked well fed. Thats as far as the care goes. They are bred and hand reared as babies by the park meaning they are taken from their mothers and conditioned (or worse) to be used in our instagram photos. I have no idea what they do with the tigers that arent fit to be touched and fondled by the public. They do not have enough space for the tigers they have right now so the fact they are actively breeding them in order to have cubs in constant supply really worries me. If you want to interact with animals in thailand please go to the Elephant jungle sanctuary where you prepare food, feed, spread mud for suncream and clean the rescue elephants that have been saved from elephant riding and other tiresom enviroments.
The ticket office workers were very friendly but after that most of the workers seemed very stand offish and rude. They were not open to answering any questions about the tigers which I found very strange considering zoos are supposed to be educational and a time for people to learn more about specific animals.
