点评：Mesele was my guide for 7 days showing me:
- Axum,
- the rocky churches of Tigray and
- Danakil depression and Ertale volcano.
Since the start you feel you are in good hands and that your comfort comes first. He is extremely knowledgable in local histroy and traditions. Often he would help me interact with the locals and act as a translator. The restaurants he chose were always of good quality, I experienced no health issues.
At times, the trip can get rough. Once a short climb up a rope was necessary to a church and in the desert there is no toilet or bathroom for 3-days. It was during such times that his advice and assistance really made a difference. I believe that if I was with a less acommodating guide, I would not feel well, especially since I was a solo female traveler. I have witnessed tourists with other guides during my trip, and I clearly recognized they were not as happy, especially in the desert.
